GUESTHOUSE HUB (GHH)

ONLINE CONTENT MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT

This Online Content Management Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into as of [Effective Date], by and between:

Guesthouse Hub (GHH), a property marketing and management service provider ("GHH"), and

[Client / Property Owner Name], ID/Registration Number: [●], operating as [Property Name], located at [Property Address] ("Client").

Collectively referred to as the "Parties."

1. PURPOSE OF THE AGREEMENT

The purpose of this Agreement is to outline the terms under which GHH will provide online content management services for the Client’s accommodation property, including but not limited to digital content creation, listing management, and online presence optimization.

 

2. SCOPE OF SERVICES

GHH agrees to provide the following services ("Services"):

2.1 Content Creation & Optimization

  • Writing and editing of property descriptions

  • Optimization of listing content for online travel platforms

  • Basic photo selection and presentation guidance (no photography unless agreed separately)

2.2 Online Listing Management

  • Creation and/or management of property listings on selected platforms (e.g. Booking platforms, GHH website, social media)

  • Updating rates, descriptions, amenities, and policies as provided by the Client

  • Monitoring listing accuracy and consistency

2.3 Social Media & Digital Presence (if applicable)

  • Scheduled posting of approved content

  • Caption writing and basic hashtag strategy

  • Brand-aligned presentation based on GHH standards

2.4 Communication & Reporting

  • Ongoing communication regarding content updates

  • Monthly or periodic performance feedback (non-financial, non-guaranteed)

 

3. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information about the property

  • Supply images, rates, availability, and policies timeously

  • Review and approve content where required

  • Ensure compliance with platform rules and local regulations

  • GHH shall not be held liable for inaccuracies resulting from incorrect or outdated information supplied by the Client.

 

4. FEES AND PAYMENT TERMS

  • Service Fee: R [Amount] per month / once-off (as agreed)

  • Payment Frequency: [Monthly / Once-off]

  • Payment Due: [e.g. within 7 days of invoice]

  • Late payments may result in suspension of Services until the account is brought up to date.

 

5. TERM AND TERMINATION

5.1 Term

This Agreement shall commence on the Effective Date and continue on a month-to-month basis / fixed term of [●] months, unless terminated in accordance with this Agreement.

5.2 Termination

  • Either Party may terminate this Agreement with 30 days’ written notice.

  • Immediate termination may occur in the event of material breach, non-payment, or misconduct.

  • Upon termination, GHH will cease content management activities and hand over relevant digital access where applicable.

 

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  • Content created by GHH for the Client remains the property of the Client upon full payment.

  • GHH reserves the right to showcase completed work for portfolio and marketing purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  • GHH shall not be held liable for:

  • GHH does not guarantee booking volumes, revenue, occupancy rates, or ranking positions.

  • Platform outages or policy changes

  • Loss of bookings due to third-party platforms

  • Indirect or consequential damages

  • Liability is limited to the total fees paid by the Client in the preceding 3 months.

 

8. CONFIDENTIALITY

Both Parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary, financial, or operational information disclosed during the course of this Agreement.

 

9. INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR

GHH operates as an independent contractor. Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed as a partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship.

 

10. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

 

11. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Parties and supersedes all prior discussions or agreements, whether written or oral.

Any amendments must be made in writing and signed by both Parties.
